Mr. Nomaan K. Husain is a Shareholder and Chair of the Litigation Group of Young & Husain, PLLC. He maintains a diverse practice and has represented clients ranging from foreign governments to individual business owners.

Mr. Husain has represented clients based abroad in countries such as Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Pakistan, Indonesia, India, Honduras, Lebanon and Cameroon.

Mr. Husain is Board Certified in Personal Injury Litigation by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and is also Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Mr. Husain is currently the President of the South Asian Chamber of Commerce and Vice-chair of the Ethics Commission for the City of Houston. He is also a member of the Multi-million dollar advocates' forum, a member of the US Justice Department’s Community Liaison Committee, a member of the International Bar Association, and a member of Mayor Bill White’s South Asian Advisory Panel.

Mr. Husain has also served as member on the State Bar of Texas Grievance Committee, has been a former Vice President of the Houston Trial Lawyer's Association, a former Director of the Texas Trial Lawyer’s Association and was a former commissioner for Building and Standards Commission for the City of Houston, and a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas.

Mr. Husain is licensed to practice in Texas, New York, the District of Columbia, and is a licensed solicitor for England and Wales. He is also licensed to appear before the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Federal Court for the Northern District of Texas, U.S. Federal Court for the Southern District of Texas, U.S. Federal Court for the Western District of Texas, U.S. Federal Court for the Eastern District of Texas, the Texas Supreme Court, New York Court of Appeals and the District of Columbia. Mr. Husain is a certified Mediator and has successfully represented his clients in both State and Federal Courts. He is also a member of the International Bar Association, and the London Court of International Arbitration.

Mr. Husain graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with B.A. in Political Science (1995) and South Texas College of Law (J.D., 1999) Mr. Husain was the Articles and Notes Editor of International Trade Law Journal and clerked for the Honorable Scott Link.

Mr. Husain speaks several languages including English (Native); Urdu/Hindi (Native).
